... lower than incandescent lamps and in the same order as fluorescent tubes.
... much longer than a conventional incandescent lamp or even a fluorescent lamp (approximately 20,000 to 50,000 hours compared to 5,000 to 15,000 hours for fluorescent lamps, 1,000 hours for incandescent lamps and 2 000 hours for halogen lamps).
SAFE AND EFFECTIVE
A conventional incandescent bulb illuminates with a tungsten filament heated to a high temperature. The output is very bad. At most, only 5% of the energy is converted into visible light, the rest is dissipated as heat. In addition, the rise in temperature of the filament is instantaneous and very brutal, resulting in a significant risk of destruction of the filament (bulb that "bursts"). A LED-made lamp produces light by the electroluminescence of a semiconductor, the output is much more interesting.
